enjoyed a bbq with my cousin in wrigleyville and caught a ride to evanston.
rode our bikes to a local grocery store for some lunch goodies (my aunt and uncle are out of town so we are on foot).
rode the train downtown to check in to our hotel.
watched the bears practice at soldier field. one word to describe: URLACHER!
walked by Grant Park to hear Pearl Jam close their show at Lolapalooza.
ate at Giordano's. thank goodness they are open late. i think i drank a gallon of water.
crashed at the hotel and woke up at 10 am. I love vacation.
drank a machiato (jake a coffee) at intelligentsia. smoothest espresso i have ever had.
currently, at the Apple store lusting over an iPhone and a MacBook Pro.
and the vacation is just beginning. no plans yet until friday, Fiona Apple and Nicklecreek at Ravinia: $15.
i may never go back to work. |
